Dillon Danis is reportedly a free agent after Bellator officially released him over the weekend, according to Ariel Helwani. The controversial mixed martial artist is now one step closer to fulfilling his dream of joining the UFC.
Danis, 30, mentioned UFC president Dana White on X (Twitter) to tell him they’re going to make a lot of money together and also retweeted Helwani’s post, confirming his Bellator exit after just two fights.

“We about to make a lot of money, Dana White,” Danis tweeted, adding a handshake emoji and another of a money bag.
White, 54, could make a business decision for a one-fight contract knowing Danis attracts viewers, but he’ll have to prove himself to the UFC boss.
Dillon Danis a real fighter?
Danis is coming off an embarrasing loss to Logan Paul in his boxing debut. He was disqualified for starting a brawl, but would have lost either way.
Despite talking a lot of trash about Paul and his fiance Nina Agdal leading up to the fight, Danis looked out of his element, even when he unsuccessfully attempted MMA moves.
Last time Danis fought in an MMA setting was a win over Max Humphrey in June 2019. Injuries kept the jiu-jitu champion out of action ever since up until embarrasing himself against Paul.
