According to The Athletic, Everton have been in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a move for Idrissa Gana Gueye and a confirmed move is now ‘imminent‘.
With just one year left on his £99k-per-week deal, the Toffees are considering offering the 94-cap ace a two-year deal.
Lampard wishes to add extra depth to his engine room, wanting another midfielder even after they hopefully capture the Senegalese maestro.

Everton’s fragilities last season certainly lay in midfield, and whether Rafa Benitez or Lampard opted for a midfield three or two, they always seemed overran.
