Two months after the final verdict in the defamation trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp was communicated, the court has published more than 6,000 pages of documents.
These unsealed documents claim that Heard refused to keep half of the money that Depp earned for filming the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The actress’ lawyers insisted that she take the millions of euros from the filming, but she refused to do so. This decision helped her lawyers to argue during the trial that she was not after money.

The exact amount Depp was paid for the movie is unknown, but everything indicates that it was a very large amount, likely tens of millions of euros.
The two actors didn’t divide their property and Depp was still working on the movie during their marriage. This means that the income from the movie is considered as property asset in California.
